How it Works
FAST Web Requisitioning enables web based, decentralized creation of web requisitions on a single page. It allows for an unlimited number of commodities for each requisition, document or commodity level accounting and the ability to attach supporting electronic documents. The requisition can then be sent for approval by the necessary stakeholders, informing them via email of an approval and eventual completion, or can be sent to a department such as Printing Services for work to be completed and an internal charge back created, and sent to the FAST Journal Voucher Application.
Web Requisitioning features include:
Single page document entry with unlimited number of commodities per requisition
Real time validation of chart of account codes and allows for row level security
Copy existing requisitions into new requisition reducing data entry
Status reports of open requisitions including awaiting users approvals and creation of PO’s
Email notifications for approvals, and ability to redirect items in different approval queues
Seamless integration with EPR systems
Minimal maintenance as it makes use of existing vendor, location and tax tables
Uses commodity or document level accounting
Create automatic buyer assignment upon completion of requisition
Ability to apply currency exchange based on vendor set up
Allows users to attach electronic documents as backup for requisitions
Allows for department review, or completion of requisition
