Mass Update Column Header Text

In this Tuesday Training Tip, you'll learn how to change the column name across all of FAST. You may already know you can change the column header text from within a report on the Administration menu item. You also know this same text is used in multiple reports across the application and you don't want to access each report separately. You can change the header text across the application in one place. For example, within the Student Application, you refer to a 'Department' as a 'School'. You want to replace 'Department' with 'School' in all column headers. Access the application and navigate to Admin > Layout > Datagrid Columns. Filter using the application and the Header Text. You can now change the header text on all the results meeting your filter request.
